Dawn Richard has been releasing a lot of new music lately to generate buzz for her upcoming EP. The former Dirty Money singer recently debuted her new song called “Black Lipstick,” produced by Druski.
“‘Black Lipstick is the story of how I found out I needed armor,” said Richard to Rap-Up. “It’s the trap. The music industry is described as a mysterious woman. The seduction and the betrayal of her. I saw in color but as soon as my eyes set on her, all that was seen was black and white. That is when I knew I needed to put my armor on.”
Richard’s upcoming EP entitled “Armor On” is set to be released on March 27.
