Congratulations are in order for Robin Thicke, as his blazing single “Blurred Lines” reaches No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100. This makes it his first No. 1 single on the Hot 100.
In addition to snatching the No. 1 spot, Thicke also scored big with downloads this week. “Blurred Lines” reached the 1 million mark, becoming his first song to achieve such an honor. The last single of Thicke’s to come close to that was 2007’s “Lost Without You,” which sold 946,000.
The Pharrell Williams and TI-assisted song is currently No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart.
“Blurred Lines” is the title track of Thicke’s sixth album, due in stores on July 9.
