Even without an album, Luke James still manages to land the photo shoots for magazines. In December, the New Orleans native will be featured in Essence magazine’s holiday edition.
In the short clip, James takes fans behind-the-scenes of the photo shoot with Essence where he speaks on not worrying about fashion.
“I care about style” said James. “Rather than what it is you’re wearing, I care how you’re wearing it. For me it’s how you wear it.”
He goes to say he enjoys the simplicity of clothing. When it comes to his special lady style, James notes “as long as she has a leather jacket, I’m alright with it.”
Later in the clip, the R&B crooner talks about his upcoming role in the new film “Black Nativity” where he plays homeless teen. He says fans will find out later in the Langston Hughes inspired film, he is actually Joseph, the earthy father of Jesus Christ.
Watch James speak on the latter and more below.
