Last Friday (Nov.29), Americans rushed into their favorite retail stores for Black Friday sales. With albums being great stocking stuffers, it was not surprise our favorite R&B artists would experience sale increases.

Justin Timberlake was one of the lucky artists as both of his 2013 releases flew up the Billboard 200. His latest album “The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2″ climbs from No.22 to No.11. Meanwhile, his March release “The 20/20 Experience” soars from No.88 to No.36.

“A Mary Christmas” by Mary J.Blige falls from No.13 to No.15. Blige’s first holiday album sold 132,000 copies since October 15.

Ariana Grande’s debut album “Yours Truly” makes a huge leap from No.56 to No.21.

Robin Thicke’s sixth studio album “Blurred Lines” rises 50 slots from No.74 to No.24.

Holiday albums by both Mariah Carey and Tamar Braxton made their ways into buyers shopping carts. MC’s 1994 release “Merry Christmas” moves from No.115 to No.84. Braxton’s “Winter Loversland” sails north from No.127 to No.96.

According to Billboard, the Adult Contemporary chart makes up the week’s most popular soft rock songs, ranked by radio airplay detections as measured by Nielsen BDS.

Mary J.Blige has found holiday success on the Adult Contemporary chart this Christmas season. Her rendition of “This Christmas” jumps from No.24 to No.8.

She also had two songs from “A Mary Christmas” to debut this week. “My Favorite Things” debuts at No.16 while “The First Noel” a collaboration with The Clark Sisters opens at No.26.
