Mariah Releases Video for Holiday Song ‘The Star’

Mariah Carey has release visual for her new holiday single “The Star” from the soundtrack of the animated film of the same name. Directed by Jeb Hardwick, the video features Carey looking fabulous in a shiny dress as she sings in front of festive backdrops. Her twins Roc and Roe also make a cameo in the video.

In The Star, a small but brave donkey named Bo yearns for a life beyond his daily grind at the village mill. One day he finds the courage to break free, and finally goes on the adventure of his dreams. On his journey, he teams up with Ruth, a loveable sheep who has lost her flock and Dave, a dove with lofty aspirations. Along with three wisecracking camels and some eccentric stable animals, Bo and his new friends follow the Star and become unlikely heroes in the greatest story ever told – the first Christmas.

The film hits theaters this Friday (Nov. 17) and includes voice overs from Carey, Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Steven Yeun, Christopher Plummer and more.

“The Star” isn’t Carey’s only new Christmas song. Last week, she released “Lil Snowman” from the soundtrack for her animated film, All I Want For Christmas Is You, available now.

Tammy Rivera Releases ‘All These Kisses’ Music Video

Tammy Rivera is keeping the music train moving with the release of her “All These Kisses” music video.

The video follows three men who live in the same city, but live very different lives. They all, however, experience similar heartbreaks, and all find their respective ways to heal. In an interview with WBLS, Rivera discussed what is what like working with Rico Love, who produced the single.

“Working with Rico Love was like surreal. It was amazing. Just the fact that the thought I had enough talent to get in the studio with me. He made me feel comfortable. He just knew what to get out of me what I didn’t even know I had in myself,” Rivera said.

“All These Kisses” is Rivera’s official debut single, which peaked at No. 3 on the iTunes R&B chart upon its release in June. Watch the “All These Kisses” music video below.
