Songstress and television personality Syleena Johnson is set to add to her musical discography with the release of “Chapter 6: Couples Therapy.”
The 37-year old singer announced her upcoming studio album with an informational post on Instagram to her 47,000+ followers revealing a soulful tune and flicks of her in the studio. The project is set to be released later this year even though its initial release was set for the end of last year.
“I’m so excited!,” the Chicago native said on her personal Instagram. Johnson also revealed who was working on the project in an interview with “The Trending Report.” “Bangladesh is the executive producer for the album and Sean Garrett did a lot of writing,” confirms Johnson.
This project springs from Johnson’s 2011 release, “Chapter 5: Underrated,” which fell short of reaching chart success. The “R&B Divas” cast member is said to be going back to her traditional style with this new effort and sixth chapter, subtitled “Couples Therapy.”
