Rated Next Malone premieres his latest single, “GPS,” exclusively on RatedRnB.com. The Sharod Virtuoso produced cut serves as the second single off Malone’s forthcoming debut album, “NOW.”
On the “edgy soul” ballad, Malone croons about all he can do to find his way back to his lover’s heart. “GPS” is definitely the anthem for every man determined to make a relationship right after he’s made a mistake.
“Can you tell me how to get back to your love/Give me all the right directions/ I’ll follow each turn, I gotta to your heart/I’m not letting go,” the Chicago native sings.
” ‘GPS’ was inspired by a relationship I went through, says Malone. “It’s a throwback love song about having trials and tribulations in a relationship and how a man should go about admitting his mistakes to make things right. The lyrics are heartfelt. The song is a metaphor. We use GPS to avoid getting lost and make sure we reach our destination on time. That’s what this song is about, finding your way back to love in enough time to make things right. Everyone who’s been in a relationship can relate to this song.”
Malone is set to film the accompanying visuals for “GPS” soon. Until then, listen to Malone’s new single “GPS” below.
