The-Dream has alluded that he plans to work with pop sensation Lorde.
In an interview with Hip Hop Hollywood, on the red carpet at the 2014 Grammy Awards, The-Dream anticipated Lorde winning the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album. However, the award went to Bruno Mars. Then, the correspondent prompted Dream by suggesting that he write a song for Lorde. He replied,”Oh yeah, you know me. My whole thing is to work with everybody.”
The R&B singer/songwriter/producer also announced that he is working on his next album, “I have an album called ‘Fruition’ that’s in the works right about now. Give me about six months to set it up right and properly.”
The-Dream took home a 2014 Grammy for co-producing the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration “Holy Grail,” performed by Jay Z featuring Justin Timberlake. Dream also recently parted ways with longtime label Def Jam and is so far pursuing the independent music route.
