R&B trio TGT served real R&B on the Arsenio Hall Show Monday night and gave weeknights a whole new meaning.
TGT redeemed themselves after the less than impressive performance back in July on CBS’ “The Couch.” You’ve never seen it get this real on a weeknight talk show as the group proved that you don’t have to wait until the weekend to get the party started. The ‘Tank’ overflowed with energy, the mood was ‘Ginuwine’ and the group had on their ‘Black Ty’ attire for the show.
Giving a little taste of their forthcoming Three Kings summer tour, the group merely put on a freak show and the ladies of the audience were thoroughly pleased. The raw and authentic massive performance kicked off with a medley of “Take it Wrong” and “Weekend Love” from their debut “Three Kings” album, but surprisingly progressed to classics like Ginuwine’s “Pony” and Jodeci’s “Freak’n You.”
The three R&B crooners also gave a saucy interview clearing up break-up rumors, future projects, who’s single and what songs they listen to when they make love. “The right music becomes the soundtrack for love making,” says Tyrese. “It’s like watching a movie with no music, the movie won’t be as effective.”
