“Real Housewives of Atlanta” starlet Porsha Williams has released her debut single “Flatline.”
Williams shows her vulnerable side in the ballad as she sings about being heartbroken from an unsuccessful relationship.
“I need a shot to my chest, I just flatline / There’s not a feeling to take ’cause your heart isn’t here, it’s elsewhere…you took the life out of me / My heart is broken and flatline,” Williams sings.
The song has been therapeutic for Williams as she went through her divorce. “I’ve been working on this song throughout the whole divorce and the whole season [of RHOA], mapping out my emotions and putting in things that I’ve gone through,” she said. It’s really kind of a documentary of everything that I went through to become who I am now.”
“Flatline” serves as the lead single off Williams’ forthcoming EP, which is set later this year.
