Actor turned singer Mack Wilds recruits a deep line-up for the remix to his track “Henny.”
Pouring up a line-up overflowing with raw talent, the ‘Henny (Remix)’ is an overload of bursting energy. The song is brought to new heights assisted by rappers French Montana, Mobb Deep and Busta Rhymes. Mobb Deep and Busta Rhymes delivered the authentic 90s energy that they were so well known for. Speaking of the 90s, the visual for the track was inspired by music videos of that time era, specifically Craig Mack’s “Flava in Ya Ear (Remix)” released in 1994.
“I remember being a kid watching that video and being like, ‘That’s what hip-hop looks like,” Wilds tells MTV News.
Soon as the video starts for the high-energy track, you can see it’s influence by the 90s Bad Boy era. From the two Henny bottles clashed against each other at the very beginning of the clip to the possy of women surrounding the crew, the visual definitely possesses the essence of that time frame.
