In other news, the “Climax” artist continues to work on his new album — better known as “one of his best records.” In a recent interview with Billboard, the RCA President of Urban Music Mark Pitts shared details on the upcoming project. “I haven’t felt this way since ‘Confessions,’” told Pitts to the online publication. “I said to him, ‘We’re not going in to try to make a hit. Let’s go in there to try and make great music. This feels like a cohesive body of work. Last album, we started [Usher’s audience] off with ‘Climax.’ Then we smacked them in the face with some dance shit. But this album feels like it’s all from the same guy.”

The latter statement speaks volumes to the “Mountains” crooner staying true to his R&B roots this time. The statement should also be appreciated by Usher’s die-hard fans who were possibly confused with the “Looking 4 Myself” album. The LP’s sales were confusing as well. According to the last post from Chart News, his seventh-studio effort sold 491, 639 since its release in 2012.
