R&B crooner Mario showed up at the 2014 African American Festival in Baltimore on Sunday evening for a special performance.
The Baltimore native’s set list included his debut single “Just A Friend (2002),” “Let Me Love You,” “Break Up,” “Somebody Else” and “Do Right.” For the latter song, which appears on Mario’s 2007 “Go” album, he brought youth from his Do Right Foundation to the stage. The Mario Do Right Foundation is a nonprofit organization that focuses on youth development with a focus on substance abuse prevention. Mario also took time from his set to raise awareness about substance abuse by sharing some interesting facts and statistics.
