Rising artist HillaryJane drops her new track called “Wild Side” from her debut EP “Stix and Stones,” which is due out July 29.
Houston native HillaryJane introduced herself to the music world last month with her interesting and intriguing introductory track “Chimneys.” Now just one month later, the 20-year-old serves us with her new offering “Wild Side,” a song about confidence in being truly different. The songstress croons about experiencing the ‘wild side’ with courage and bravery when it comes to the risky game of love.
“It is dangerous not to follow the crowd,” says HillaryJane. “Everyone thinks they are doing it, but they are really not. It is dangerous to give your entire life for one thing–but I like the Wild Side.”
HillaryJane experimentswith her rap alter ego on the 808XEliTE-produced track fusing her unique, distinguishable vocals with sleek, memorable bars like a natural lyricist. The dark, but soft mid-tempo ballad pushes the envelope of R&B with her thought provoking, relatable lyrics and her refreshing sound to this art of music. This crooner’s distinctive lyrics and vocals are what will set this Houston native a part from her industry peers.
