After signing with Young Money in 2012, Christina Milian is ready to return to music as she readies a new album and a new mixtape entitled “Tina Turn Up.”
Milian has been vacant from the forefront of music two years shy of a decade. After experiencing another side of the fence with a number of hosting gigs left and right, Milian finally schemes a musical comeback. Signed to a hot label with top musical label mates, the 32-year old is focused on trying to provide something new and fresh for fans who have patiently been waiting on her musical return.
“Now I just feel like I’m in a good space, I’m signed to Young Money and got a new album coming out,” says Milian. “I can’t wait! I honestly don’t know when my release will be. The album is set and ready to go, but one thing about [the] label, they like to focus on each artist when they come out.”
The Jersey native reveals that her new album will include production from Polow Da Don and Shakespeare along with some new producers to provide her with a fresh pick of records. Even though the Young Money label is now focusing on releases by rappers Lil’ Wayne and Nicki Minaj, Milian is patiently waiting her turn. She admits that once her album does hit the racks the gas pedal will be on full speed. So, she is repairing herself for the ride.
The 32-year-old doesn’t only plan on making a comeback with her new album. The singer will also appear on Lil Wayne’s “Carter V” album on a few records that she got to write as well. Milian is also planning to drop a mixtape before the release of her album so that she can supply music as soon as possible and release songs that may not fit on the album. You can also catch an inside look of her preparing for her new music on her upcoming reality show with E! TV.
