Ever since Beyoncé shared a 15-second teaser of the upcoming “Fifty Shades of Grey” film, fans began wondering what her involvement in the film would be.
Today (July 24), the R&B/pop superstar confirmed her involvement on Facebook by posting a two-minute trailer of the film. Toward the end of the trailer, we learn that the highly anticipated film will include an exclusive version of Bey’s debut single “Crazy in Love,” which was released in 2003.
This is certainly not Beyoncé’s first time being involved with a major film. Most recently, in 2013, she appeared on the “Great Gatsby” soundtrack with Andre 3000 on a song called “Back to Black,” which was originally recorded by Amy Winehouse. Bey’s hit single “Crazy in Love” was also a part of the tracklising on the “Great Gatsby” soundtrack. An alternative version of the record was performed by Emeli Sandé with The Bryan Ferry Orchestra.
“Fifty Shades of Grey” will hit theaters on February 14, 2015. Peep the first trailer below.
