Marsha Ambrosius’ sophomore album “Friends & Lovers” is officially in stores today (July 15).
She recruits R&B legend and label-mate Charlie Wilson for “Spend All My Time” and Dr. Dre for her latest single, “Stronger,” which she recently released as an appetizer for her fans.
The song is an extension of her cover of Sade’s 1988 classic “Stronger Than Pride.”
Ambrosius warned fans that “You can expect me to be a complete asshole on [the] album,” says the “Late Nights & Early Morning” artist. “Honestly and openly, the expressions of a woman, a very honest woman and I’m not taking any prisoners.”
