Estelle will use her voice to help spread awareness about domestic violence.
The Grammy award winning singer has teamed up with Face Forward Foundation to perform at the organization’s fifth annual gala, “A Venetian Masquerade,” on September 13 at The Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.
With domestic violence occurring every 15 seconds in the United States, Face Forward Foundation strives to alleviate the internal and external scars of victims and those affected. Ninety percent of all rape and abuse cases lead to physical disfigurement and Face Forward provides treatment to victims who are not able to afford medical assistance.
Last month, Estelle released her inspirational single “Conqueror” off her forthcoming LP “True Romance,” which is due November 4. We presume that Estelle will perform that song at the gala next month, as it’s very appropriate for the cause.
