A month after the release of his sixth studio album “Trigga,” Trey Songz achieves top five success on the urban adult contemporary radio chart.
“What’s Best For You,” lifted off the deluxe edition of Songz’ new album, springs from No. 6 to No. 4 on Tuesday (August 26). The loving track hurdled over Robin Thicke’s apologetic record “Get Her Back” and Pharrell Williams’ upbeat tune “Happy” to achieve its new position.
The song totals 1,449 radio spins since entering the chart on June 4 at No. 40 with 88 radio spins.
Last week, “What’s Best For You” rose from No. 9 to No. 7 on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart after 11 weeks.
In addition to the song’s recent Billboard stats, the steamy visuals for the bonus track were also released last week.
Songz’ “Trigga” album is available in stores and on digital retailers.
