Oh boy! The Aaliyah biopic saga continues…
Ever since news broke about the Lifetime biopic on the life of Aaliyah, it has been drama. From Zendaya Coleman being announced to play the late singer and then dropping out weeks later to Alexander Shipp landing the role and the family demanding a feature film, it seems the Aaliyah story should be placed on a permanent halt.

However, according to Sister 2 Sister magazine, another Aaliyah biopic is allegedly in the works.
Allegedly slated to release in late 2015, the impending feature film, written by author Zane, will have singer B. Simone portray the “One in a Million” singer.
Unlike the Lifetime movie, those close to Aaliyah will be involved. The report alleges that the singer’s uncle and former manager, Barry Hankerson are working behind the scenes of the film.
We can’t predict what will arise next about either biopic on the life and career of Aaliyah. All in all, we just hope her story is told accurately.
