Jennifer Hudson won’t be releasing her third studio album “JHUD” this month as expected.
On Monday evening (August 11), the powerful vocalist informed her nearly 7.9 million Facebook followers that her impending project is scheduled to arrive on September 23.
In addition to the disclosing the release date, she gave fans the first look at the cover artwork for the new album.

Last month, Hudson explained the meaning behind her “JHUD” album title. “It’s different expressions of me as an artist, a girl, a music lover,” she said.
The delay of Hudson’s third album isn’t much of a shocker as her singles such as “Walk It Out” and “I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel)” haven’t been as groundbreaking on radio as her previous hits “Spotlight” and “Where You At.”
Nonetheless, her latest song “It’s Your World” featuring R. Kelly still has the potential to impact on the Billboard and radio charts in the near future. The disco-infused track stands at No. 22 on the urban adult contemporary radio chart.
