Three weeks after sharing a teaser photo, Teyana Taylor premieres her “Maybe” music video.

The Harlem bred singer serves us sexiness as she plays three different assassins in the cinematographic cut.

The comic book theme video draws inspiration from “Eyes Wide Shut” and “Sin City.”

“It was like a comic book theme so I got to play the beautiful assassin,” she said. “The look that I was going for was the whole underworld, kinda sassy, kinda sexy place.”

“Maybe” is the lead single off Taylor’s forthcoming debut album “VII,” due in stores October 21.

Teyana Taylor Lands Role in Netflix Comedy ‘The After Party’

 

Teyana Taylor remains booked.

The vivacious R&B beauty has scored an acting gig in the upcoming Netflix comedy film, The After Party, backed by WorldstarHipHop, Def Pictures, Live Nation Productions and Hunting Lane Films.

Directed and written by Ian Edelman, the coming-of-age comedy is inspired by the late WorldstarHipHop founder Lee “Q” O’Denat, who loved coming-of-age films like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and American Graffiti.

Teyana Taylor Teams with Migos for New Song ‘Drippin’

Deadline reports, The After Party — also starring French Montana, Blair Underwood, Wiz Khalifa, and Kyle Harvey — will show two best friends on their last night together trying to get a record deal before one heads to college and the other leaves for military service. In one wild night, a lot will go down before the sun comes up and these two lifelong friends either have succeeded on their quest or must go their separate ways.

Filming is scheduled to start soon in New York. Stay tuned.

Calvin Richardson Releases New Single ‘Treat Her Right’

Calvin Richardson makes a return with his brand new single “Treat Her Right.” On the track, the R&B crooner gives fellas some insight on how to keep a woman.

“‘Treat Her Right’ is the secret ingredient to any relationship! It is what every woman wants and needs from their mate,” Richardson said in a press release.

“Treat Her Right” is the first single from Richardson’s upcoming album, All or Nothing, which drops on September 29 via Shanachie Entertainment.

Richardson explains, “This album touches on everything — soul, R&B and pop. It has something for everyone – love, laughter, sex, dance and romance. Best one yet!”

Bryson Tiller Enlists SZA for European Leg of ‘Set it Off Tour’

Two of R&B’s hottest acts have just joined forces. That’s right: Bryson Tiller has enlisted SZA for the European leg of  his Set It Off Tour. The dates are set for this fall beginning October 17 in Marseilles, France and ending in Dublin, Ireland on Nov. 30.

This announcement couldn’t have come at a more appropriate time for both artists. Tiller, whose sophomore album True to Self debuted at No. 1 last month, just finished the U.S. run of the tour with special guests H.E.R. and Metro Boomin. SZA has also been keeping busy with the release of her No. 3 peaking debut album Ctrl and the announcement of her own headlining tour last week.

SZA is only one of special guests that will be featured on Tiller’s tour, with the others TBA. Tickets go on sale this Friday, July 14.
