A little over a year ago, Raheem DeVaughn dropped his fourth studio album “A Place Called Loveland.” Now, the R&B/soul singer is ready to begin a new era of music. Earlier this week, DeVaughn announced his new single “Queen,” which is set to arrive on September 16.
While we wait for the song to drop, DeVaughn has launched a countdown on Instagram where he features a photo of a queen. DeVaughn has also expressed that he’s depending on his fans to help spread the word about his new music. “This is the beginning of the new chapter in #APlaceCalledLoveLand which was the name of my 4th album released 1 year ago today!!!!!,” he wrote. “So please set your smart phone calendars for September 16th to go on iTunes and buy my new single! Remember World my movement is word of mouth I don’t depend on Television or Radio to spread the gospel of my art I CALL ON YOU!”
“Queen” will be the first song released off DeVaughn’s fifth album “Love, Sex, Passion,” which is due February 2015 via eOne Music.
