Elle Varner has officially started her promotional campaign for her sophomore album “4 Letter Word.”
Rocking her natural fro and her ruby red lipstick, the RCA Records artist stepped on the “Queen Latifah Show” stage to give her first televised performance of her new single “Don’t Wanna Dance.”
Without the assistance of the song’s guest artist A$AP Ferg, Varner gained the attention of the entire audience as she sung the words to her anti-party song. “I’ve been here for much too long/I don’t really wanna dance/And I hate most of these songs/Plus my feet are killing me/I don’t really wanna dance/Should’ve stay my ass home.”
After releasing “Don’t Wanna Dance” in early July, the song has made its way into the top 40 (No. 33) of urban radio. According to All Access, after nearly a month, the A$AP Ferg assisted track has reached over 665 radio spins on the radio chart.
