These fans are loyal! Chris Brown’s sixth studio album, “X,” debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
Despite being outsold by Barbra Streisand , who sold 196k copies of her new album, Brown pulled in solid numbers. The talented singer pushed 146,000 units during the first week of sales.
Brown wasted no time to thank his fans for their support. “TEAM BREEZY! The billboard consumption number for X is 495K! X is GOLD already! Thank you! I’m honored and I love y’all!,” he tweeted.
“X,” available in a standard and a deluxe version, includes appearances from Usher, R. Kelly, Trey Songz, Jhene Aiko, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Tyga, Kendrick Lamar and others.
