With her debut EP That’s Me Right There available now, budding artist Jasmine V releases “Me Without You” as the second single off the five-track set.
On the strong production, the Interscope signee finds herself stricken with a “cold fever” after she realizes how bad she mistreated her ex. “Lights off, days lost / Crying on my bed / Heart beats, slowly / I’m trying to clear my head,” she sings on the emotional song.
The new track “Me Without You” serves as the follow-up to her Kendrick Lamar assisted single “That’s Me Right There.”
Rated RnB caught up with singer-songwriter Ester Dean, who decided to put her music on the back-burner to put the focus on Jasmine’s records. “I got to make sure that I’m not like all these other artist producers who don’t support their own artist,” she said. “I got to make sure that I do right by her. I got to make sure I give her songs.”
