K. Michelle has secured her second No. 1 album as her sophomore effort, Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s R&B Albums chart, selling 84,117 copies in its first week according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart? also marks K. Michelle’s second top 10 album on the Billboard 200 chart. The album came in at No. 6, topping her first release, Rebellious Soul, in first week sales which debuted and peaked at No. 2 back in 2013.
The first week numbers of 84,117 gives K. Michelle the highest selling female R&B album of 2014. The album’s lead single “Love ‘Em All” currently holds onto the No. 13 spot on the Hot R&B Songs chart, its highest appearance on the chart to date. The album also features the second single “Maybe I Should Call,” and “Going Under.”
