“So today is my birthday, but I wanted give some gifts to my fans!” says Bellinger. “I got great feedback on Choose Up Season and am happy that fans are excited for more music, so here’s a preview! Cuffing Season is on the way!”

The love track “Text Threads” was produced by Ayo & Yung Ladd and samples Montel Jordan’s classic “This is How We Do It.” Bellinger samples theme song for the hit sit-com Living Single on “Overrated.” The record was produced by D’Mile and celebrates his happy family life with his loving wife and newborn son.  Last, but not least, “Viral” was produced by Bangahs and is a party anthem celebrating women.

Eric Bellinger Enlists Teyana Taylor for Leading Role in ‘G.O.A.T. 2.0’ Video

G.O.A.T. 2.0 Remix Eric Bellinger Teyana Taylor Wale

Eric Bellinger is back on the video scene with the new visual for his song “G.O.A.T. 2.0.”

The video — which stars Wale, Teyana Taylor, and Bellinger’s business parter YOSHI — finds Bellinger in a bit of trouble with the law after a bank heist goes awry.

In the actual song, Bellinger and Wale name all of the reasons why ladies are the G.O.A.T. on this radio-ready track.

“Shawty bad, slim, thick / She my drug, she my fix / And I’m all up in her mix / She be mixin’ with the wrist / She the plug, she finesse / She the one they call the GOAT / She don’t stress / She don’t trip and she fuck with all my bros,” he sing-raps on the hook.

“G.O.A.T. 2.0” is a remix of “G.O.A.T.” from Eric Bellinger’s 2016 project Eric B. for President: Term 1. This song, which originally features ARoC, along with “Drive By” have been picking up steam over the past year thanks to social media exposure. In fact, the “G.O.A.T. 2.0” garnered over 100,000 views in a single day.

Eric Bellinger Releases Acoustic Version of EP ‘Eric B for President: Term 2’

After dropping his EP Eric B for President: Term 2 in March, Eric Bellinger follows-up with an acoustic rendition of the project. Stripping away from electronic beats, Bellinger’s rearranges the songs on the EP using only acoustic instruments.

“I love acoustic versions because guitar is such a simple, yet potent, instrument,” explain Bellinger. “The feeling from those strings alone brings so much organic raw emotion to the music. Stripping down all the instruments and allowing the listener to focus in on lyrics, melodies, harmonies, ad-libs, and my intricately detailed vocal arrangements is important to me.”

He continued, “With everything being so trapped-out nowadays I just wanted to give the people another alternative. Something different, something soulful, something they could feel.”
