In celebration of his 28th birthday, Leigh Bush drops a brand new EP titled Series – 3187.
The EP kicks off with a sexy record called “I Like It, I Love It.” Speaking on the track, Bush says, “It’s a very sensual record. We’re in an era where we can be direct and bold, and I appreciate the bluntness of the record. It’s definitely in your face.”
The second track, “Put It Down,” is another steamy track that could easily be added to someone’s bedroom playlist. “I’ve always had an appreciation for records that showcase passion and vulnerability,” Bush says about the track, which is reminiscent of the classic R. Kelly and The-Dream during his early days.
On “Got Damn,” Bush’s favorite track, he struggles with what he wants and what his lover wants. “Timing is everything and I feel like it’s so honest and transparent that the consumers can’t help but respect it,” he says about the relatable track. “Career vs. love sometimes causes an unexplainable disconnect. Closure isn’t always found yet the effort must be initiated.”
Bush closes Series – 3187 with a raw track called “Too Late. “As men we feel as though we have a lifetime to fulfill the needs and desires of a woman,” he explains. “Failing to realize that every woman has a breaking point. There’s a such thing as “Too Late.” And once too much time has passed it becomes difficult to reconcile the hurt and pain I once caused.”
