After taking fans to the dance floor with her buzz single “Kinda Miss You,” Deborah Cox releases the lead single from her new album Work of Art.
Produced by Thadeuis Dixon, “More Than I Knew” echoes the post breakup thoughts of scorned women across the nation. “I gave you my heart on a platter, it was stupid / I gave you my life like it mattered, but you took it, ” sings a brokenhearted Cox.
Cox tells Billboard, “This song is classic me; lots of emotion about a scenario I believe a lot of women find themselves in.”
