Tamia’s Love Life Tour made a stop at Rams Head Live in Baltimore on Friday night. The tour is in support of her latest album, Love Life, which is in stores now.
Tamia’s kicked off her set approximately at 9:09 p.m. Her two background singers, dressed in black jumpsuits, strutted on stage to warm up the crowd. Following their short introduction, the Canadian singer quietly walked on stage as fans in the packed venue roared in excitement. She was wearing a black lace dress with a beige waist belt and heels.
The R&B veteran dove right into her set by opening with a medley that consisted of “Imagination,” “So Into You” and “Questions.” The majority of the first half of the show consisted of Tamia’s older material including “Can’t Get Enough,” “Still,” “Into You,” “Almost,” “Officially Missing You,” “Missing You,” and “Me.” The latter self-love tune had the crowd singing along loudly as it’s one of Tamia’s fan-favorites.
Tamia smoothly transitioned from older hits to newer material. She cleverly infused songs like Lauryn Hill and Nas’ “If I Ruled The World” and “Beautiful Surprise;” and “Sandwich and a Soda” and Bobby Shmurda’s “Hot N*gga.”
Tamia gave it her all when she performed “Stay With Me” off Love Life. The 40-year-old singer’s silky vocals shined throughout the performance — especially her high notes.
She also performed songs like “Day One” — dedicated to her husband Grant Hill — “Lipstick,” “Love Falls Over Me” and “Chaise Lounge,” to name a few.
As usual, Tamia put on a great show for her new and core fans.
