Before this year ends, Timbaland will release a brand new mixtape titled King Stays King. Due on Christmas Day, the compilation project — produced entirely by Timbaland, of course — will consist of 16 tracks with appearances from Mila J, Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, Blaze and more. The mixtape will also feature an unheard song by the late Aaliyah.
“It’s been a while since I’ve been able to give the world some new music. I’ve spent a lot of time working on this project and I am just looking forward to giving my fans some dope sounds to close out the year,” says Timbaland.
Following the mixtape’s release, Timbaland will release a video for “Get No Better” featuring Mila J and “Servin” featuring Blaze. Both videos are being filmed in Atlanta. At the top of the year, Timbaland will kick off his 20-date club tour.
Timbaland’s long-awaited album, Textbook Timbo, is also set to release in early 2016.
