After premiering his new single “LA Confidential” Thursday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Tory Lanez releases the studio version of the song. Co-written by Lanez and Miguel, the guitar-led tune paints a dark picture of feeling lonely in a relationship, which leads to creeping.
“I got somebody / So I can’t f*ck with just anybody / But sometimes I get lonely, I get lonely / So let me keep it real with you, real with you / Can you keep it real with me, real with me? / When I get lonely, I get lonely now and again,” he sings on the edgy track.
“LA Confidential” serves as the follow-up to Lanez’ smash single “Say It,” which samples R&B group Brownstone’s 1993 classic “If You Love Me.”
