Singer Bridget Kelly is promoting perseverance in her visuals for single “Not Afraid.” The visuals begin with a motivational message about being strong enough to climb any brick wall in your path. Kelly uses the story of a female who is secretly pursuing her passion in boxing even though she has been guided towards ballet. Director Samuel McKnight focuses his lens on the “growing pains” of the female battling with herself and what her mother wants her to do.
The New York singer is currently readying the release of her debut album All or Nothing.
“It’s going to be about situations where it was all of me and I was invested. I was in love and I was happy,” said Kelly. “There’s going to be moments where I felt like I had nothing and I’m having to rebuild myself — dark moments. This album is going to be my best work yet.”
“Not Afraid” is lifted from her Summer of 17 EP, which is available on iTunes.
