Emerging star Ro James will release his debut album, Eldorado, on May 27 via ByStorm Entertainment/RCA Records. The New York Native has released two new tracks called “Gas” and “Burn Slow.” If that’s not enough, he has also shared a visual for the latter track.
“I’m giving people just a little bit of what I’ve been through,” James told Billboard. “Something that guys can actually relate to without feeling like the music is too soft or you can’t vibe to it, but something [where] women can also appreciate honesty from a guy from his perspective on life, love, relationships, growing up. That’s what this album is. There’s so many influences from rock to country to R&B to hip hop to gospel. Then it’s like how do you put that all into your first album? You can’t. So I’m just giving it a little bit at a time.”
James’ new music follows the release of his major debut single “Permission,” which has garnered favorable reviews from fans and critics, and “Already Knew That.”
Eldorado is available for pre-order on iTunes.
