Bibi Bourelly has released the visual for her Earl St. Clair assisted duet “Perfect.” The two singers wear all white as they sit in a white room, symbolic for pureness. As they sing throughout the video, the walls begin crumble and their skin deteriorates.
“I guess that behind everything that appears to be perfect there are imperfections. It’s unnatural to be perfect or to pretend to be perfect,” Bourelly explained to The Fader.
St. Clair added, “Nothing is perfect. We wanted to show you that perfection is not achievable, but it is perceivable with this video. That can be a bad thing… or a good thing depending on what or whom you’re looking at.”
Bourelly will kick off the North American leg of her Free the Real Tour on Sept. 2 in Washington, D.C.
