It’s officially Bruno Mars season. Serving as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, the singer performed his new single “24K Magic.”

Emerging from his dressing room backstage, Mars and his entourage danced through the studio until they hit the stage.

“24K Magic” is the lead single and title track to Mars’ upcoming album, which drops on November 15.

For his second performance, Mars debuted a new song called “Chunky,” which celebrates independent and thick women.

“She gotta have her own money / Shout out to the girls that pay their rent on time” he sang. “Chunky, looking for the girls with the big ol’ hoops / That drop it down in Daisy Dukes.”

Bruno Mars and Cardi B Team Up for ‘Finesse (Remix)’

Bruno Mars is kicking off the new year with fresh tunes. The singer has enlisted budding rapper Cardi B for the official remix to “Finesse.”

Cardi opens up the track with a hot verse, before handing it back to Mars. “Bossed up and I changed the game (you see me) / It’s my big Bronx boogie, got all them girls shook / My big, fat ass got all them boys hooked,” Cardi raps.

Along with the song premiere, Mars surprised fans with an accompanying visual. Co-directed by Mars and Florent Dechard, the ’90s-themed video pays homage to the sketch comedy series, In Living Color.

“This video is dedicated to one my favorite T.V shows of all time,” Mars tweeted. He also thanked Keenan Ivory Wayans, the creator of the show. “Shout out to the people over at Fox Studios and a very special thank you to @keeneniwayans,” he wrote.

The original version of “Finesse” appears on Mars’ chart-topping album, 24K Magic.

Both Mars and Cardi are nominated for Grammys this year. Mars is up for six nominations including Album of the Year (24K Magic). Meanwhile, Cardi’s hit single “Bodak Yellow” scored her two nominations.
