Sevyn Streeter has released a visual for her The-Dream assisted song, “D4L.”
Directed by Mike Ho, the video opens with a definition of what it means to be “D4L.” “The act of pleasing one’s mate and knowing when to switch that shit up.” Throughout the video Streeter portrays different personas including Kitty, Alexa and Ms. Streeter.
“My song ‘D4L’ is all about keeping the spice in your relationship,” Streeter tells Billboard. “I think it’s sexy and exciting to switch up your looks and give your man different sides of you, do a little role play! I wanted to visually show the different sides that can live within any woman for her man.”
“D4L” is the third song lifted from Streeter’s debut album, Girl Disrupted, which drops in January.
