Tory Lanez Drops Two Mixtapes: ‘Chixtape 4’ and ‘The New Toronto 2’


Tory Lanez is kicking of the new year with new music. The 24-year-old singer released two mixtapes for his fans — Chixtape 4 and The New Toronto 2. Both projects are a follow-up to Chixtape 3 and The New Toronto, which he released last year.

Chixtape 4 features Lanez’ spin on popular R&B songs including Pretty Ricky’s “Grind with Me,” Diddy’s “I Need A Girl,” R. Kelly’s “Ignition” and Ginuwine’s “Differences,” among others. The mixtape also includes guest features from Jacquees and Nyce.

On  The New Toronto 2, Lanez shows off his rapping skills. The mixtape includes appearances from rappers Rick Ross and A$AP Ferg.

Tory Lanez Shares ‘Memories Don’t Lie’ Track List, Drops Three New Songs

As March 2 draws closer, Tory Lanez shares the official track list and artwork for his sophomore album, Memories Don’t Lie.

On his bright and festive album cover, Lanez is surrounded by colorful balloons and Polaroids images from his childhood, which dangles aimlessly behind him.

The album features 18 songs with guest appearances from 50 Cent, Future, Fabolous, NAV, and Wiz Khalifa.

Along with his track list and cover artwork, Lanez gifts fans with a three-song EP titled The Bag, to tie over fans. It includes two songs with PARTYNEXTDOOR.

Tory Lanez Sets March Release Date for New Album ‘Memories Don’t Lie’

Tory Lanez is ready for world to hear his second album, Memories Don’t Lie. Slated to arrive on March 2, the project will serve as the follow-up to 2016’s I Told You.

The Canadian singer/rapper has dropped a 60-second PSA to accompany his album release date news. Shot by visionary director Josh “Midjordan” Farias, the throwback visual revisits Lanez’ childhood moments including family photos, Nickelodeon magazines and even clips from the infamous O.J. Simpson murder trial.

Lanez also offered a relatable soundbite to play behind nostalgic album trailer. “As the memories come and the memories go,” he says. “people die every day, but the memories don’t.”

Ahead of Memories Don’t Lie, Lanez has treated fans to a series of songs including “I Sip”, and “Skrt Skrt.

Tory Lanez Drops New Song ‘I Sip’

Tory Lanez is back with new heat. The singer/rapper has released a new song titled “I Sip.” Over a slow-burning beat, Lanez sings about his addiction to drugs and alcohol.

“I sip way too much drank / I don’t think I can think / I won’t try to tell lies/ This blunt got me too high / I won’t try to pretend / Cause you and I just friends,” he sings.

Lanez is working on his sophomore album, Memories Don’t Lie, which is slated to release next year. Lanez has been pretty consistent with dropping music. “I Sip” follows his most recent releases “Shooters,” “Skrt Skrt” and “Real Thing” featuring Future,” which all dropped last month.
