H.E.R. makes her intentions very clear on new song, “Your Way.” The captivating production by Scootie and Ryghteousryan includes a sample of Aaliyah’s 2003 single “Come Over.” Playing on the sample, she uses it to describe her objectives once she reaches bae’s location.
“Speedin’ down the 101/ It’s about 12:01 am/Goin to spend more time with you/And I aint even front, I can never get enough,” H.E.R. sings.
H.E.R. approached the R&B scene with an EP titled, H.E.R. Vol. 1, which debuted no.1 on the iTunes R&B chart. Although it hasn’t been confirmed, it’s rumored the mysterious talent is singer-songwriter Gabi Wilson. Only time will tell if there’s any truth to the rumor. Regardless, we appreciate the lush sounds.
“Your Way” follows the full version of “Pigment” and “Yeah I Said It (Remix).”
