Tinashe has released a video for her latest single “Flame.” Directed by Andrew Donoho, the sizzling visual chronicles a relationship gone sour. In the dramatic clip, the Tinashe seeks revenge on her ex-lover by burning down his house.
“Flame” is the lead single from Tinashe’s forthcoming sophomore album, Joyride, which is expected to release this year on RCA Records.
Tinashe compared Nightride and Joyride in an interview with Rolling Stone. “I see them as two things that are equally the same,” she said. “I think you can be a combination of things, and that’s what makes people human and complex. They are equally me. I don’t like to be limited to one particular thing so I want to represent that duality and that sense of boundlessness in my art.”
