Just a week after premiering his Jill Scott-assisted single “Until The Pain Is Gone,” Daley shares the accompanying video.
The video features Daley alone in a diner in the wee hours of the night. He says the video was inspired by a painting by Edward Hopper called “Nighthawks.”
He told Paper Magazine, “It’s an image of a lone stranger in an eerie after-hours diner, seemingly in a world of his own.It always captured my imagination, wondering why he was there, what he was going through.”
“Until The Pain Is Gone” is the first single off Daley’s sophomore album, The Spectrum, which releases this summer.
