Brandy Covers ‘Brave’ by Sara Bareilles’

Brandy decides to be “Brave” and release a rendition of Sara Bareilles’ 2013 single. And what do you know, it sounds awesome — like we knew it would be.

The vocal athlete makes the uplifting anthem her own, as she sings, “You can be amazing / You can turn a phrase into a weapon or a drug / You can be the outcast / Or be the backlash of somebody’s lack of love.”

Brandy shared a clip on Twitter Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 9) of her singing her version of Sara’s inspirational song. “#brave is what I have to be to live the life I am meant to live. What a beautiful song,” she wrote.

Although the cover is less than 2 minutes, it caught the attention of the Little Voice singer.
