Chloe x Halle Shares ‘Warrior’ Video

Rising R&B duo Chloe x Halle delivers the visual for their song “Warrior” from the A Wrinkle in Time soundtrack. Directed by Matthew A. Cherry, the video features the two sisters singing on an elevator that is filled with surprises.

“Warrior” will also appear on the duo’s debut album, The Kids Are Alright, which arrives on March 23 via Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment.

In other news, Chloe x Halle are set to sing “America the Beautiful” at WrestleMania 34 on Sunday, April 8 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. It will be the first time the song is performed as a duet at the event.

“It is an honor for us to perform ‘America the Beautiful’ in New Orleans at WrestleMania,” said Chloe x Halle. “We feel privileged to participate in such a meaningful way at one of the biggest sports and entertainment events in the world.”

“Chloe x Halle are a dynamic sister duo, known for their angelic voices and soulful performances,” said Neil Lawi, Senior Vice President and General Manager, WWE Music Group. “WWE is thrilled to have them open WrestleMania with their rendition of ‘America the Beautiful,’ a role that has been filled with renowned artists in the past, including Ray Charles, John Legend, Aretha Franklin, Nicole Scherzinger, Fifth Harmony and Tinashe. This will mark the first time WWE has had a duet performance of this song.”

Toni Braxton Shares Video for ‘Long As I Live’

Following the season six premiere of Braxton Family Values, Toni Braxton releases a visual for her latest single “Long As I Live.”

In the Mike Ho-directed video, Braxton and her dance partner showcase some smooth dance moves. Her sisters Tamar and Towanda also make an appearance in the video.

“Long As I Live” is the second single from Braxton’s new album, Sex & Cigarettes, out now on Def Jam Records. The song is currently No. 14 on Urban AC radio.

H.E.R. Releases Video for ‘Focus’

H.E.R. caps off this week with a visual for her fan-favorite track “Focus.”

The Sarah McColgan-directed clip follows H.E.R. as she tries to get her man’s attention. However, he’s so distracted by other things – like his phone. “Can you focus on me?” she sings.

“Focus” appears on the mysterious singer’s self-titled project that dropped last year. She is currently gearing up to release her debut album later this year.

In other news, H.E.R. is set to perform at the Broccoli City Festival in Washington, D.C. on April 28, alongside Miguel and Daniel Caesar.

Trevor Jackson Releases Video for ‘Apocalypse’

Actor/singer Trevor Jackson has released the accompanying visual for his latest single “Apocalypse.”

Directed by Jackson himself, the video shows him literally going through different obstacles — as the world is coming to an end — just to be with his lover. According to Jackson, the video is a representation of being unafraid to go places where others are scared to go for love.

“Apocalypse” is lifted from Jackson’s forthcoming project, Rough Drafts Pt. 1, which will drop on March 23 via Born Art/Empire. The 15-track LP, which was recorded in Jackson’s living room, includes features from Lecrae and Iyn Jay.

Jackson will support Rough Drafts while serving as the special guest on Justine Skye’s Ultraviolet Tour, which begins tonight in Washington, D.C.
