Actor/singer Trevor Jackson has released the accompanying visual for his latest single “Apocalypse.”
Directed by Jackson himself, the video shows him literally going through different obstacles — as the world is coming to an end — just to be with his lover. According to Jackson, the video is a representation of being unafraid to go places where others are scared to go for love.
“Apocalypse” is lifted from Jackson’s forthcoming project, Rough Drafts Pt. 1, which will drop on March 23 via Born Art/Empire. The 15-track LP, which was recorded in Jackson’s living room, includes features from Lecrae and Iyn Jay.
Jackson will support Rough Drafts while serving as the special guest on Justine Skye’s Ultraviolet Tour, which begins tonight in Washington, D.C.
