In honor of Black History Month, RnB newcomer LaJon performed his rendition of Bill Withers’ classic hit “Ain’t No Sunshine.” Coupled with a live band, LaJon performed the Withers’ 1971 hit in an effort to spread awareness about the importance of his generation respecting their ancestors.
“Showing respect to your ancestors and the ones who came before you should not be an option but a duty,” said LaJon. “It should be an involuntary action. Those who fought for my freedom and paved the way to greatness, their work and efforts should never go unappreciated and that’s extremely important to me.”
