Dawn Richard premiered a new song today called “Change,” from her upcoming EP “Armor On.” The track serves an the intro to Richard’s upcoming debut album “Golden Heart.”
“The sound is aggressive, militant, but soulful,” said Richard. “I wanted to add a New Orleans base in times of the second line, in celebration of our culture. Druski, the key producer of the EP, married the influences to tell the story of GoldenHeart.”
