In late 2011, R. Kelly revealed that he had been working on his “Trapped in the Closet” series. He told TMZ that he’s written 32 new installments of the hip-hopera and is looking for investors to assist with the production of the project. It looks like everything worked out because the crooner recently announced that “Trapped in the Closet” will return in November.
“We just shot 20 chapters,” Kelly tells TIME. “They’ll be coming out the day after Thanksgiving. Trapped in the Closet is forever. I’ve got like a hundred chapters to come.”
The R&B veteran recently kicked off his “Single Ladies Tour,” and is working on his new album, Black Panties.
