Soul singer Angie Stone has been in the music industry for quite some time. Before she decided to become a singer, she was apart of a hip-hop group called The Sequence. The “I Wanna Thank Ya” singer was among many R&B/soul artists who attended the 2012 Soul Train Awards in Las Vegas. Soul Sessions caught up with Stone on the red carpet where she talked about her longevity in the industry.
You are definitely an unmovable stone in this industry. Tell me about the longevity.
Well thirty-four, almost thirty-five years, I started in 1979 with the first female hip-hop group called The Sequence. It
