R&B veteran Faith Evans stopped by The Arsenio Hall Show this week to perform and update the public on details surrounding rapper Notorious B.I.G.’s death.
Arsenio Hall asked the R&B songstress if there are any advancements in the investigation surrounding her ex-husband’s death. An emotional Evans had this response to Hall’s question:
“We just basically stopped spending our money on trying to hope that the LAPD was going to do their part…We believe that they know what happened. We’ve spent millions of dollars on lawyers fees and we’ve never gotten anything from it. It’s gotten to the point where we know it may never happen and that’s really sad.”
Evans later gave a soulful rendition of “Tears of Joy,” the lead single from the Grammy-nominated “R&B Divas” compilation album.
Evans plans to release her sixth studio album “Incomparable” later this year, with guest features from Missy Elliott and Karen Clark-Sheard.
